Massage Flows
Inja Basch Spa Studio’s massage flows are created from the modalities of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Thai, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Aromatherapy, Rocking/Shaking, and Energy Balancing.
Standard Flow
This massage includes all modalities mentioned above beginning face down. The flow begins at your feet and moves towards your head, moving Earth’s energy into the Universe. Focus is placed on increasing flexibility, moving lymphatic fluid to the heart, and increasing circulation while the legs are massaged. As the flow moves to the back, neck, and scalp focus is placed on tension release and muscle fiber elasticity. Upon turning over, the flow will begin at the legs, then arms, hands, neck, followed by feet and finally closing with head, neck and shoulders. Throughout the massage energy work is done to ensure balance upon completion.

Facial Alignment Massage
Sculpt. Tone. Restore.
This non-invasive technique focuses on the facial muscles and structural alignment of the face. Through precise, intentional movements, this firm massage helps support muscular and structural alignment throughout the face, jaw, and neck. The result is a refreshed, natural glow and a more defined facial structure, making it an ideal choice for those seeking visible results without aggressive treatments.

-
Jaw (TMJ) Massage
Release. Alignment. Relief.
Jaw massage focuses on the muscles of the jaw, face, and neck that commonly hold tension from stress, clenching, grinding, and overuse. Through slow, intentional techniques, including intraoral massage performed from inside the mouth while wearing gloves, this modality helps release deep jaw tension, improve mobility, and relieve facial discomfort and headaches. Particularly beneficial for clients who clench, grind, or carry stress in the jaw and neck, the experience leaves the face feeling lighter, more balanced, and deeply relaxed.

-
Armpit Massage
Detox Support. Upper Body Release.
The axillary region plays a significant role in lymphatic drainage and upper body mobility, yet it is often overlooked. This focused work helps stimulate lymphatic flow while relieving congestion in the chest, shoulders, and arms. By addressing this area, clients often experience improved range of motion and a noticeable sense of lightness and release through the upper body.

-
Joint Lymphatic Massage
Mobility. Circulation. Recovery.
Joint lymphatic massage focuses on key areas such as the armpits, neck, upper chest, abdomen, pelvic region, hips, and behind the knees, supporting both lymphatic movement and joint function. Through targeted, rhythmic techniques, it helps reduce fluid buildup, ease inflammation, and improve overall mobility. This modality is particularly beneficial for those looking to move more freely, recover more efficiently, and maintain long-term health.

-
Abdominal Massage
Core Release. Internal Balance.
Abdominal massage is a focused treatment designed to support digestion, circulation, and internal flow. Based on Chi Nei Tsang principles, these gentle yet effective techniques help relieve bloating and discomfort while encouraging a deeper connection to the body’s core. The experience is both grounding and restorative, offering a subtle but powerful reset that supports overall balance and internal well-being.

-
Pelvic Massage
Release. Stability. Restoration.
Deep pelvic massage focuses on the muscles and connective tissues surrounding the hips, glutes, lower abdomen, and pelvic region where the body commonly stores tension, restriction, and stress. This modality helps release deep muscular tightness, improve mobility, and support structural balance. Clear communication between client and therapist is essential throughout the session, and draping and client-therapist guided boundaries are essential to ensure comfort and professionalism. Clients often leave feeling more grounded, open, and structurally balanced.

-
Thai Foot Massage
Grounding. Circulation. Full-Body Effect.
Thai foot massage is rooted in reflexology principles, stimulating specific pressure points in the feet that correspond to different areas of the body. While the work is localized, the effect is often felt throughout the entire system, creating a sense of balance, grounding, and overall relaxation. Especially helpful for those who spend long hours standing, walking, or traveling, this modality is ideal for improving circulation, reducing heaviness in the legs, and reconnecting with a more centered physical state.

-
Hot Stone Massage
Warmth. Release. Deep Relaxation.
Hot stone massage uses smooth, heated stones placed and incorporated throughout the body to help relax muscles, improve circulation, and promote a deeper sense of physical and mental calm. The warmth allows tension to soften more gradually, creating a grounding and restorative experience while enhancing the flow of the massage. Particularly beneficial for those experiencing stress, muscular tightness, or fatigue, this modality leaves the body feeling deeply relaxed, balanced, and restored.

-
Bamboo Stick Massage
Deep Release. Structural Reset.
Bamboo stick massage is a powerful technique that uses warmed bamboo tools to deliver consistent, deep pressure across muscle groups. The smooth, flowing application allows for a deeper release of chronic tension while supporting circulation and muscle recovery. This modality is particularly suited for those who prefer firm, intentional pressure and want to experience deep work delivered in a controlled and continuous flow.

-
Chakra Reading & Balancing
Alignment. Flow. Energetic Reset.
Chakra reading and balancing is a restorative modality designed to assess and support energetic alignment throughout the body’s major energy centers. Through intentional touch, guided awareness, and subtle energetic techniques, the session begins with identifying areas of energetic imbalance, stagnation, or overactivity before working to restore flow and balance throughout the body. Clients often seek this experience during periods of stress, emotional overwhelm, fatigue, or transition, leaving the session feeling more centered, grounded, calm, and energetically connected.

-
Rocking & Shaking Massage
Rhythm. Release. Nervous System Reset.
Rocking and shaking massage uses rhythmic movements, gentle oscillations, and controlled shaking techniques to help release muscular holding patterns and calm the nervous system. Rather than relying solely on pressure, this modality encourages the body to soften naturally through movement, creating a deeply grounding and restorative experience. Particularly beneficial for those experiencing stress, physical rigidity, or nervous system tension, clients often leave feeling lighter, more relaxed, and physically rebalanced.
